Bea
Bea was always the big baby of the house. She is 7 months old here in this photo, but
already over 50cm (20") at the shoulder and 20kg. She grew even bigger than that
and weighed in at around 35 kg in her prime - but still bounced around like a puppy.
Bea was killed by snakebite as she neared 11 years old. Although she received treatment
she passed quickly with her family at her side.
Bea was a BC and Kelpie cross and had a smooth coat. She was born in
our bedroom from one of the farm bitches and was with us since day
one, so she was very much just like one of the family.
Bea at 10 years old. More grey but still active.
